Sri. G D Naidu set up G D Naidu Charities in 1950, a charitable institution registered under the Societies Act, with an objective of setting up museums, science centre and technical institutions to further the cause of educating the next generation by practical means.

After his demise, the Charitable Trust run by his son, Sri. G D Gopal, has added on the Gedee Technical Training Institute, Gedee Car Museum and Experimenta Science Centre. These are run under the same philosophy of the founder Sri GD Naidu. Being a non-profit organisation, the Museums and Science Centre are run with the support of the group companies and through the CSR initiatives of other corporates.
