History
The Experimenta Science Centre was founded in the year 2023 by the GD Naidu Charities under the able guidance of Sri GD Gopal, Managing Trustee of GD Naidu Charities. The Trust was set up by (late) Sri G D Naidu, a distinguished scientist, industrialist and philanthropist of Coimbatore, South India, with an objective of setting up museums, science centre and technical institutions, to further the cause of educating the next generation by practical means.
Shri. GD Naidu, well known as ‘the Edison of India,’ was an ardent automobile enthusiast, science lover and loved learning the science behind functioning and invention of everything that he came across. He was a man of practical learning and he strongly believed that empowerment comes through dissemination of knowledge.
